Why The Morning Shift?
The morning shift gives us the individual skill work and attention we don't get during our team practices. This small group training will focus on skating mechanics & is designed to create habits and movement patterns that transfer directly to game play. This training gives detailed instruction for proper execution & repetition to create habits. This training works through progression to build stronger and more confident skaters.
Skating
You will learn alignment, edge control, balance, and proper mechanics. We will incorporate overspeed training to work on our acceleration and overall speed as well as turns & transitions to give us the game feel. We want to create clean habits. Efficiency is what we are looking for.
Small Group Aspect
Groups are maxed at 12 skaters. The small group allows for more individualized instruction while still allowing you to skate & learn with other players. The small group gives a personal feel that will help build confidence and give more purposeful repetitions.
